Got here from Bing search and I have many questions for working gemologists about spectroscopic analysis and what sort of equipment I might need for doing my own research at home. I have recently come into possession of thousands of rubies whose provenance I need to confirm without taking them to an official lab.

Then this forum is of no value to me in helping traffic my illicit rubies!

i cant tell if thats a joke or not but it sure as heck is funny a professional was looking for a place to talk about real gems and wound up on a steven universe forum

I've gotten some comments telling me they expected a more scientific video, but stuck around for the episode analysis anyway.
