Got here from Bing search and I have many questions for working gemologists about spectroscopic analysis and what sort of equipment I might need for doing my own research at home. I have recently come into possession of thousands of rubies whose provenance I need to confirm without taking them to an official lab.

I don't know what all those funny words mean. I just talk about cartoons on the internet. I'm not really a gemologist, at least not professionally.
